The third season of “The Mandalorian” arrives on Wednesday and with it comes the return of acquainted faces like Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and extra.
One acquainted face you gained’t be seeing is Gina Carano’s bounty hunter Cara Dune. Within the collection, she was final seen within the season two finale as a marshal of the New Republic who helped Din rescue Grogu from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).
Carano was famously dismissed from the collection in 2021 following controversial statements made on social media. Lucasfilm launched an announcement round that point saying: “Gina Carano just isn’t presently employed by Lucasfilm and there aren’t any plans for her to be sooner or later.” Quickly after she was fired from her company UTA, whereas Hasbro halted making Cara Dune motion figures.
