Creating timeless songs and albums for over 45 years, Jim Kerr and the band are radio staples which were a soundtrack to generations.
Again and arguably higher than ever, Easy Minds have a brand new album out, “Route of the Coronary heart,” their 18th and first since 2018. Identified for rousing and inspirational music, the band’s new album looks like an exceptionally poignant one to emerge from the pandemic.
When requested in regards to the new file, Kerr responded, “Wouldn’t be nice to have one thing that was uplifting and joyful… and actually, actually good?”
Jim and the band labored laborious to mix the nostalgic ’80s sound they’re recognized for with a contemporary outlook. He famous, “There’s a candy spot that’s so laborious to hit… You may’t return to the previous… Nonetheless, one way or the other you’ll be able to evoke the previous… and on the similar time carry the present sensibility.”
