While some reveals launch with a multiple-season plan, that’s not the case for Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars” spin-off “The Mandalorian” it appears.
The collection has launched two seasons up to now, together with the spin-off “The Guide of Boba Fett” which included a number of episodes that served as a ‘Season 2.5’ for the collection and setup plot threads for the upcoming third season.
Talking with the Inside Whole Movie podcast (through GamesRadar) within the run-up to the premiere of the brand new run, collection creator Jon Favreau was requested about his ideas of a possible collection finale down the road.
He says he hasn’t deliberate an ending for the collection as but, and has assured followers that there’s no plans to complete the journey of Din Djarin and Grogu anytime quickly:
“I feel the fantastic thing about that is that it’s a center chapter of a a lot bigger story. And although we’ll have decision over time with these characters, I feel that how these characters match into the bigger scope and scale, however it’s not like there’s a finale that we’re constructing to that I take into consideration.
Fairly the opposite, I really like for these tales to go on and on. And so these characters probably might be with us for some time, and I actually love telling tales of their voice, and I really like the way in which the adventures unfold and I’m wanting ahead to doing far more.”
Beforehand actress Katee Sackhoff, who performs Bo-Katan within the collection, revealed in a Selection interview (through Display screen Rant that Favreau and co-creator Dave Filoni had seemingly put a quantity on the seasons they plan to have.
